Dragon Ball is one of the most iconic shonen series of all time. Chances are that most people who aren't really aware of the realm of anime have still heard of this show and its many legendary characters. This includes Prince Vegeta, a character who initially comes with malicious intentions before settling on Earth and becoming a member of the Z Warriors.

This character has had its fair share of iconic moments across the series, with his pride dictating the majority of his actions. That being said, Vegeta hasn't shied away from partaking in some moments of comedy as well. It's not the first thing that most people would think about this character, but there are actually many great moments where Vegeta has made viewers laugh quite a bit. The best of the bunch are mentioned below.

10 Pandering To Beerus

Vegeta pandering to Beerus in Dragon Ball Z

The most overt manner in which Vegeta has been funny was when Beerus was introduced for the first time. Unlike the rest of Earth, Vegeta was well aware of just how powerful Lord Beerus really was.

So, in a bid to prevent him from going berserk, Vegeta tried his hardest to pander to Beerus. Watching the Prince of all Saiyans discard his pride to protect Earth from the Destroyer God's rage was surprisingly fun to watch.

9 Growing A Mustache

Dragon Ball GT is a series that most people don't really think about all that often when talking about the franchise. However, the sequel to Dragon Ball Z had its moments, although Vegeta ended up in a less important role here.

He does have his moments in the show, such as when he grew a mustache. It wasn't received all that well, and this look went away sooner rather than later.

8 Bulma Bossing Vegeta Around

At this point in the story, Vegeta was nothing more than a prideful Saiyan who would look down on everyone around him. So, to see him get bossed around for a change by someone not named Frieza was pretty interesting indeed.

Bulma's bossy attitude may be what led to Vegeta developing feelings for her in the first place. After all, a powerful man like Vegeta is bound to be attracted to a personality that's similar to his.

7 Having To Wear A Pink Shirt

While the idea of wearing a pink shirt isn't all that mortifying now, people forget that Vegeta could easily be the poster child of masculinity. Any bright color would be something that he would absolutely hate, including a bright shirt.

The fact that he got forced into wearing this attire anyway and was laughed at by Krillin, Yamcha, and Puar made this moment even funnier. The fact that he would wear this outfit even while receiving Goku was pretty great and made for some memorable dialogue exchanges indeed.

6 Finding Out That Goku Hasn't Kissed

During the Future Trunks arc in Dragon Ball Super, Vegeta finds out something rather odd about his Saiyan compatriot. He finds out that Goku has never kissed in his life!

The Prince of all Saiyans has a pretty memorable reaction here, even stating that Goku has been married to Chi-Chi all this while! The fact that Goku has two children but is yet to kiss Chi-Chi is hard to believe.

5 Breaking A Punching Machine

Vegeta destroys the punching machine in Dragon Ball Z

The World Tournament saga had a pretty great moment where contestants needed to measure their power using a punching machine. All the Z Fighters try their hardest to mask their powers by hitting the machine lightly...well, everyone except for Vegeta, that is.

He wastes no time in breaking the machine with one punch, which surprises everyone around him. It only makes sense that a prideful warrior like Vegeta would find it beneath him to try and underplay his immense power.

4 Goku Accidentally Walking In On Vegeta's Wife

Dragon Ball Super has a rather odd moment where Goku accidentally teleports to Bulma's room after using the Instant Transmission technique. Things get worse when Bulma walks in, wearing nothing more than a bath towel.

Suffice to say, she gets pretty embarrassed upon seeing Goku there. To top it all off, Vegeta also enters the room after hearing Bulma's scream, adding to the chaos of this hilarious scene.

3 The Iconic Declaration Of Goku's Power Level

For what it's worth, this moment was never meant to be funny. However, the internet has memed this dialogue to the point where the phrase "It's over 9000" has become legendary in its own right.

Dragon Ball Z Kai might've done a ton of things right, but one thing that people can't forgive it for is changing this dialogue. This is because the original dialogue was a mistranslation, with Vegeta actually saying "It's over 8000" instead.

2 Breaking The Fourth Wall In A Movie

Super Android 13 in Dragon Ball Z

Super Android 13! was a pretty great movie with its fair share of iconic moments. One such moment came at the very end of the movie and is so hilarious that it almost seems out of place.

At the end, Piccolo and Vegeta are sitting on a rock in the middle of the ocean, with the former wondering if the movie is finally over. Vegeta responds by saying that it's not over until a fish jumps out of the water...which actually happens! After this, Vegeta declares that the movie is officially over, which is pretty hilarious indeed.

1 Frustrating Cell With Some Smack Talk

During their fight against Semi-Perfect Cell, both Trunks and Vegeta make it clear that their power is on a whole different level. This sends Cell into a fury, who wonders how they increased their power level to such a massive extent.

Vegeta replies by saying that he does push-ups, sit-ups, and drinks plenty of juice, which is such a cocky line that it draws the ire of Cell quite a bit. It's one of the many reasons why so many people love this prideful Saiyan.
